Mid-year snapshot: we’re +85K YTD, despite spending two months on unpaid leave traveling across Asia and my girlfriend choosing a lower-paying job.
Kind of crazy to think.
We definitely had some luck along the way (markets in the last years..), but it’s been a nice reminder that building a financial buffer gives you the freedom to make decisions based on life rather than maximizing income.
