If you don’t use for your home usage, 40gb is a lot.
Yup, I agree. I can go over 40Gb some months when staying some days in the mountains where I use it as a hotspot. In case you can still buy some data package.
I got the Digital Republic deal for 15/month, data totally unlimited as I was told by the team and no activation costs as with Talktalk (approx 20 chf when paid directly on subscription).
But the 1Gb roaming data makes the TalkTalk deal really great.
Who is talking about inflation? xD
24 months contract duration is a no go for me.
I would be the same for me usually, but you won’t find anything that cost less than that. Also I think you can rescind it if it doesnt work. Per law, I believe.
Can you point me to where exactly you’ve seen that?
It was the beginning of last week in the offer, I cannot see it anymore…
Hopefully someone has downloaded and will share it, so we can use it in 2 years if they will try to increase the price ;).
Did anyone managed to contact TalkTalk and get the answer? I tried by form on Friday, today on WhatsApp - no replies…
I signed up during the weekend and have not yet received any email confirmation. They are probably overwhelmed by subscriptions. IMO a fantastic one-time offer.
FYI - they finally replied (on WhatsApp). It is possible to sign up now and start the contract later (up to 9 months). Plus - it is supposed to stay 11 CHF after 24 months - but I’m not sure if WhatsApp message is contractually binding ;).
Since in Switzerland even an oral agreement would be binding (problem is more to prove it), I think a WhatsApp message should be fine, since you can show it in court (should it come to there)
Anyway, you can easily cancel the contract after 24 months and especially after a price increase, can’t you ?
Yes, of course and according to the WhatsApp exchange, after 24 months the notice period should be 30 days.
Go for the refferal if several of you take the contract!
Too late for me, already signed for 2 numbers…
I signed up, PM me if you want a referral code, happy to share
How do you understand this sentence : Calls abroad: Roaming calls to and from other countries and international calls to other countires are excluded.
If I call in France while being in Portugal, I have to pay, right ?
If I call in France while being in France, does I have to pay ?
Link to conditions : https://docs.talktalk.ch/public/TTM/TTM.TARXXL.STD.EN.pdf
The preceding sentence gives a list of „included“ countries. The list is the same for „to“ and „from“ (roaming).
Calls to - or from - other countries would be excluded.
Edit: while I agree that it’s good to read the fine print, this info on their homepage should confirm that:
It should still be noted that “vom Ausland” does not apply to any or every foreign country. It’s only free if you roam in one of the listed.
Both are, to my interpretation, included in the plan.
