I know. Where do you see ETH/BTC at if it gets approved? 0.06-0.07?

@SwissTeslaBull
After I mined my ETH, I could have sold 2 for 0.16 BTC. Now it’s worth 0.11 BTC.

No clue, I make no predictions but from here on the only way is up (of course with dips) until the end of the bull run probably mid-end 2025. Don’t neglect the alt coin season is coming too and personally I also like to diversify with crypto too (not all in in BTC).

Yes but in the case only eth-btc matters. All way up sure, but more or less than btc?

Who knows… but look at this last 5Y chart % comparison between BTC and ETH:

Should have sold ETH at 0.58 BTC xD

Crypto fluctuations are of notoriously very high magnitude. I wouldn’t assess the valuation of any crypto asset based on a few days/weeks fluctuations. Your ETH could be worth 0.6 BTC tomorrow.

If I plan to sell my ETH for at least 0.06 BTC, shouldn’t I convert my BTC in ETH now?

My own view in investing is to go for good enough and never aim for perfect. If the conditions you have set for selling your ETH are met now, I would sell the ETH. Be aware that you might be subject to regret if ETH skyrockets afterwards.

On a side note, I would only consider investing or trading crypto if:

  • I’m ok with the base product and its impacts.

AND

  • I’m searching to daily trade high volatility assets and am ready to loose everything doing that (casino mindset).

OR

  • I’m in it for the long haul, don’t fret the daily fluctuations at all, can stomach a -90% loss of value over a few weeks AND am ready to loose it all.

Very good time to take a position imo, we are consolidating just below the old ath and we are still pre halving. Potential upside is just too big to miss.

If you are not sure, how about cost averaging? It seems you are more afraid of making a bad deal, than you would like making a good one. Also, crypto exchanges normally don’t have minimum fees but just charge (rather low) percentages. You could sell 1% every day over the next 100 days.

It might help you plan a strategy that fits your need.

can someone please enlighten me how MSTR did not just invent the infinite money glicht (till they dont)?

MSTR, sells stock → Buys BTC
BTC rises → Stock are more valuable
They issue more stock → Buy more BTC
BTC is more valuable → Stock rises
… well you get the point…

They issue more stock → Buy more BTC
BTC is more valuable → Stock rises

does this seem normal? Is this the “free lunch” every economic prof deams of? Do we all get rich (quick)?

It seems to me big players who have invested in BTC are also the ones who buy it to keep prices up. This is a dangerous game and it creates an impression that price will only go up which pulls more investors

The question is would they continue to do so or they will get out at some point leaving the retail investors hanging.

Time will tell

According to Saylor, MSTR will never sell the BTC.

Asuming Bitcoin does what’s supposed to do as store of value and always up against USD, and esecially with the new US accounting rules (from 2025? on), having BTC on the sheets is a competitive advantage which no company can avoid having none. If not this cycle, at latest the next one the big tech will have to have it on the sheets. And MSTR is a show case that’s working (so far).

How is your post an anwser to my question?
Did i write something about sell btc?

Please read again if you would like to discuss the topic further.

It’s obvious that Slayer wouldn’t say he is going to sell at highs.

But the question is , if he is using BTC as store of value then how come the value is increasing so fast? Has value of USD (for example) fell as much as BTC have gained over the last 5 years? Of course not.

I am not questioning the value of blockchain or BTC. I just feel there is some sort of manipulation going on here. I might be wrong though.

As long as the price of MSTR is in USD (and always go up due to BTC on the sheet and others joining the party) this will work forever. Price the stock in BTC and it will not work anymore.

What an elegant description of a Ponzi scheme!
