And having studied medicine or even being a nobel price does not stop you from drifting away from commun sens or to loose credibility in the eyes of the scientific community or even become plain stupid.
Ex: Luc Montagnier, Didier Raoult, Stuckelberger (from the Friends of the constitution)

And also: as the media try to dialecticize opinions on the on going pandemic it can appear that there is a 50/50% contradictory opinions… But one has to keep in mind that one part sums up often 95% percent of the accepted state of knowledge (dont know if it’s clear xD)

We are finally here. Bundesrat will decide it in the next couple of days. Certificate for bars, restaurants, gyms etc.
To be honest, I even hope they will decide to do it. First of all, most restaurants and fitness centers will check it only pro forma, e.g. having a sign there please show your certificate etc. but nobody complains if you don’t show it. Secondly, this will really going to make lots of people very angry and thus mobilise them for the referendum. The more horrible the measures will be in the next 2 months and the more people feel pissed, the higher the chance will be that the referendum will be accepted. Then it means, good bye Covid certificate.
Precisely how I see it. It could work very well for liberty. My feeling is that the majority of the Swiss population is not represented by what I’ve read in this forum.

It is not quite about me being right or wrong, but rather about the established biomedical scientific field having convincingly shown the merits of being vaccinated. There’s numerous peer reviewed studies in serious journals, informaiton submitted to regulatory affair committees etc. And hence, there is a clearly established best clinical practice.
I can simply not have convidence in a doctor refusing vaccination to apply the best available clinical intervention for treating or preventing an affliction.
There are, as in all science, probablities. And in this case, the statistics are pretty damn clear.

The majority of the swiss population is vaccinated. Accepting the refendum and getting rid if the covid pass will only make things worth for everyone and will potentialy lead to closings because how could you assess the contamination risk without.
Not speaking about the problems of swiss travelling abroad without a covid pass… Good luck with that.

A majority of the Swiss have accepted the vaccination, yes. We’ll see if a majority of the Swiss accept the imposition of a two-tier society with highly curtailed civil liberties. We can talk about it after the marches, civil disobedience and referendums.

Yeah… I suppose you dont work in a hospital and dont have a close relatives that needs intensive care.
Happy also that our decisions makers do get the fact there is a pandemic with heavy risk of pressure on the health system (do you need examples from other countries ?) and take decisions acordingly and that the sceptics stay what they are… An ill-informed minority.
And also, Maurer, Parmelin and now Köppel speak for the vaccination… The two aforementionned SVP gouvernement members also hope that the refendum does not go thrue. And all the other parties of course.

2/3 of the adults already got their shot. The other 1/3 are mostly low skilled foreigners and can’t vote anyway.
you are convinced 40% of the people cover your back? sorry, that is not the case.
the Wahlbeteiligungon June 13th was about 60% (source), hence you can credibly claim 25% of the people eligible of voting.
The rest is a silent majority that prefers the pandemic to be over instead of unleashing it by dropping all measures.

I, for one, am glad that we are navigating this crisis well enough for them to be angry instead of waiting in front of closed hospital doors for their loved ones to have an opportunity to be admitted in.

You know what you said is bullshit, yet your ego cannot acknowledge it.
Well then I am pretty proud of having girlfriend, friends, collegues and family saying they have been vaccinated to prevent from getting complications out of covid, to limit the spread of the virus and try to get back to normal asap.

Don’t worry, once they will face the reality of the unemployment insurance and their penalties and obligations to find a job in their field of knowledge and experience, they will suddenly be grateful to work again in a hospital. Or, they will become trader
