I’m still not sure what to think about this virus. It seems worse than the flu, but is it significantly worse? WHO talked about 760 million being already infected. Maybe we are overestimating the lethal rate.
Germany has 7600 cases today.
And they’re TEN TIMES bigger than us.
Why do we have such high numbers? Were the measures taken by the Swiss government so bad compared to Germany?

Correct me if I’m wrong but iirc Germany has had obligatory mask usage since a long time. May be related to that?
In Canton SG they don’t have the capabilities to get you tested without reporting any serious symptoms. That’s the opposite of Kurzarbeit here. I don’t know how it is in other cantons though.
If it is related to that, then I’d be interested in knowing WHY we didn’t take the same measures.
Switzerland has had one of the least restrictive measures in Europe since the beginning. Such high number of cases per 100’000 inhabitants should not be a shock to anybody imo.
