I can think only of this

I think it was pretty much expected, atleast for me. Seems very predictable - (until it isn’t.)
I for one look forward to it dropping more, to get that sweet cheap USD in April when I can invest again.

Why do you want to buy USD?

My username is a subtle hint at which ETF I invest it, and that certain ETF is denominated in USD

Sorry .. I was trying to search on justetf and etfdb, but I can’t find it. Where you can buy this ā€œLoverā€ ETF?

The denomination of a fund is irrelevant for that.

Only relevance for you converting CHF to USD, is that due to USD losing value, the US companies inside VT became cheaper to buy for your CHF.

Yes itā€˜s the majority, but at the same time ex-US currencies as well as stocks gained value. Which makes them cost more.

So the net effect is quite a bit lot lower than you think likely.

A bit of both.

I already wanted to re-evaluate my allocation at 80/20, but I had favored an allocation at 85/15 at the beginning of the year.

I had anticipated the fact that the Trump administration was not going to help the citizens of this country to live better (i.e. to pay less for their consumer goods because of the Tariffs; but then, it’s always better to believe Trump’s words rather than listen to the experts, poor MAGA) and that the USA was likely to underperform this year because of lower consumption of goods on American soil (given that the majority of citizens are likely to be poorer because of higher prices).

So yes, there’s a desire to take advantage of the good performance of the Swiss indices, while bearing in mind that I could buy more positions in VT if the price falls and the dollar is weaker than the Swiss franc.

Perhaps I’d also be calmer in my head with a 70/30 allocation, I’ll see

I was on an exclusive tour of Fort Knox the other day.
I’m only allowed to publish one picture that I took inside.

Shall we reopen the thread about Bond etfs? At the end I gave up again trying to understand which bond is a safe choice for me.

The family who own/control CALM are looking to sell out their shares…

Is CALM controlled by the Pablo Eggsobar family?

It sounds like Swiss wealth managers were not wrong when they try to use 20-40% home bias

Well considering the Eggstortionate prices, I wouldn’t be Shell-shocked if it were true! These Eggstreme prices are just further Eggsploitation of ordinary people. It is Eggravating and Eggsasperating that this is not being addressed before it develops into an Eggsistential crisis.

I’m not an eggspert. I have some just in case…

I bet you do, @stojano! Fits your theme, hear me out …

We all know there’s only a limited amount of eggs that will ever be hatched staked by the time the sun overwhelms most of the inner planets – give or take a couple billion years – including all chicken miners, so locking in on these assets EggCoins with finite supply only makes sense.

I’m not even eggsatering!

Things are going beautifully to plan. I say S&P500 at 5000-5200 in June.
