Care to add 3a providers? It’s kind of the same thing for most forum members.

You could add SaxoBank as second European provider.

I suppose the 3a providers are more diverse than expected because many here are forced to use their bank’s funds for indirect amortization.

In my case you’d have to add UBS. I suppose cantonal banks and Raiffeisen would also be quite popular

Just choose “other” in this case ?
The 3a provider listed here are only “digital offer” from various banks. Do we need to list them all ?

Only if you want a more precise picture.

It’s your poll, up to you.

Maybe Schwab? (20 chars)

„Schwab clients who are residents in certain jurisdictions are no longer able to purchase U.S.-registered ETFs.“

They erroneously announced that they wouldn’t be available anymore in 2019. But who knows if the new laws made them reconsider and block them for Swiss investors?

Should it really be brokers only or could solution providers, relying on a 3rd party broker, be considered acceptable? Neon and Yuh come to mind.

Maybe. There is a significant discussion. You won’t know if you don’t ask.

On the other hand, will you include UBS and maybe ZKB and maybe “other Swiss cantonal bank” and “other Swiss bank”? Ok, at this point one can ask people to just write it below.

For additional brokers you have listed only Swiss ones. There could be a number of users who use European brokers, such as Comdirect, Flatex, maybe something French?

Then, “main” and “additional” brokers can mean different things. Did you imply “main” to be the one with the highest balance? Or with the highest activity, trading or charting? Or is it according to the specific personal perception? Different people may be actually answering different questions.

Just throwing in some ideas, it’s your project.

I’m imagining Neon could. I’m more doubtful that Yuh would. 5% is a relatively high bar to clear.

I like that.

UBS might be worth its own category, since it’s the broker of choice for those who want to do indirect amortization. Not sure it clears a 5% bar, though.

You can start with broad categories and see if a second poll is warranted to get into more details for some of them.

I guess for the general population, the traditional full banks incl. UBS, ZKB, Raiffeisen would be the majority. In this forum, not so sure

You could even group Postfinance in there, although I understand they stand out a little with lower fees compared to the others.

What about True Wealth, Findependent, Selma etc.? Isn‘t there a multiple choice possibility?

you missed the deadline :stuck_out_tongue: but yeah, “robo” could be another option, i guess. as long as the option “other” is below 10% in the final results, i’ll consider it a success
