Safe to assume it will not - though I can find no mention of it on their website.
Big question. I would change only if the discount is lifetime.
By the way, there is a cashback on rabbatcorner for talktalk.
Just got the answer from the customer support : Le prix de CHF 25.00/ mois pour l’abonnement XXL est valable pendent la durée minimale du contrat de 24mois.
No go for me.
With such competitive market, and so many companies, I understand the 24 months issues nevertheless, 25 chf to have all in CH and EU it’s really one of the bests I’ve see lately. Recently I saw Salt with 45 chf for the same thing (also with 24 months) and also Swisscom with 40chf for the same.
I’ve had Lebara’s “Europe Abo” (advertised for CHF 39/mo.) for around 2 years now. I only pay CHF 19/mo. and get unlimited calls in CH and to Europe, 6GB data (CH) and unlimited SMS to anywhere in the world. They periodically have promos (50% off) or you can just talk to them and negotiate. I think for my first year I was able to have them scrap the activation fee (CHF 59) but in turn agreed on a 12-month contract, can be cancelled after 1st year with 2 months notice. Would even try to ask them for the same offer, without activation fee, and without 12-month contract and see what you can get. I have been happy with them, customer service is ok (possible that they charge the activation fee anyway, or similar hiccups, but they fix everything if you complain). Probably rubbish for roaming/abroad, but I always go for a local solution there.
I got an email from digital republic:
Voice Option
In addition to one of the data tariffs unlimited telephony and SMS in Switzerland
CHF per Month +10.–
If anyone needs it, Salt is having a sale this weekend:
Smart 24 Months | Salt.
Everything unlimited in Switzerland for 20CHF.
Check the Yallo Sommer Black Friday https://www.yallo.ch/de/summerblackfriday deals… just changed my gf’s contract.
Swiss only is super cheap
yalloswype
20.-/month unlimited call, sms, data in Switzerland and it’s not a deal, just the regular price
You can get an eSim. And you don’t have to pay every month. You can still get phone call even if you don’t pay.
Pretty attractive pricing but I wouldn’t want to use the Sunrise network ever. Wingo on the Swisscom network is comparable at 24.- Fr/month.
Sunrise network is excellent - on a Sunrise contract.
Your mileage may vary on other brands.
I used yallo during 3 years and moved to wingo on swisscom network. Best value for 25 per month.
maybe someone knows a nice prepaid SIM for europe?
It might be enough to have an european SIM for data only. This way a Yallo/Salt CH only would be coupled with a prepaid european sim, since I don’t think having so much data/phone call in europe area always that useful.
I can confirm this, I am very happy with the service. I sometimes use it to work remotely with Citrix while streaming Spotify and who knows what else and the performance is great.
I (used to) use Swiss Mobile, these are the packages you can buy:
30 days… It’s like a contract then. I wonder if something not so limited exists though.
You buy the package once and then you have 30 days to use it. You’re not forced to buy again until you need it.
I personally use Airalo for that.
You’ve created in me the need for a phone with an eSIM!
i have an esim phone but I “waste” it with a local sim, since it’s easier to insert a foreign normal sim rather than an esim.
And also these options here for roaming e-sim solutions.
