Well, there are MASSIVE payments to Iran as part of the deal. Not exactly ‘art of the deal’.
Can someone point me to reports about the terms of the agreement? I can’t seem to find a reliable source on it.
Because it hasn’t be published by neither of both parties (my understanding from yesterday evening)

I thought the president organised some kind of roman games with huge cars and not MMA matches.

So, they have agreed to try to agree on something at some undefined point later in time, as expected.

Brings to mind a key phrase from the book The Art of the Deal (which, by the way, according to Donald Trump is only his SECOND favorite book - his favorite is the bible, just so you know): truthful hyperbole. I.e. as long as there’s some remote kernel of factuality in it, it’s perfectly OK to exaggerate / lie.

I read somewhere that the Trump Iran Deal MOU essentially looks like the German surrender terms of WWI.
During the Armistice German WWI generals refused to sign the surrender documents, and their government who had ordered surrender had already collapsed. So the new Socialist government was forced to sign. The generals and the remnants of the old government immediately blamed the Socialists, who had nothing to do with it. The blame stuck.
It’ll be interesting to see if Trump actually signs it or dumps that task on JD Vance. If the latter, the fait of the German example may also stick to Vance…
Hard to believe any US President would sign that MOU let alone negotiate a document like that.

To add to this, there’s some hilarious interviews with Trump on youtube where reporters ask him about his favorite quotes/sections in the bible (and also e.g. Old vs. New Testament). Instead of saying “I’m not so familiar with the details” Trump BS’s his way out of it with blabla about that being a very personal topic and that he likes the old and the new testament equally, etc. - he’s so unashamed it’s really entertaining to watch sometimes.
By all means, search for it on youtube, you’ll be laughing out loud.
