Is there something wrong with this offer? I noticed it hasn’t been added to the overview thread, but it has already been read by @oslasho.

I’m asking because I might be interested in this offer. However, I see one downside: in order to be contacted about opening an account (as I’m not a client yet), I need to check a box stating that I “voluntarily accept that my data may be used for advertising purposes”.

yeap from 1 march 2025 the new interest rate is 0.5% up to CHF 500,000 and 0.15% over CHF 500,000

Wise offers 1.95% for EUR and 4.07% for USD. Nothing for CHF I think, or probably I just hold too less…

What’s the best savings account now that SNB’s rate is 0? Yuh gives me 0.1% since March and I predict they’ll lower it to zero very soon. I am thinking (over)paying taxes? Seems like Zurich still pays 1% interests

Correct and 0.75% in 2026 which will likely stay fairly competitive.

0.1% is currently what you get if you don’t want to be tied down. This applies to Yuh, Radicant, Willbe etc. Without effort/commitment, you probably won’t get any more. Alternatives:

Cler ZAK seems to keep 0.5% up to 100k, cembra sparkonto plus is still 0.85% but 6mo withdrawal period.

Wow, good timing, yuh just wrote me that they’ll give 0 from July 1st

Cembra flex with 0.3% and possibility to withdraw 20k/month might make me want to open yet another bank account (I have collected 8 banks so far).

Why not overpay taxes instead? Federal taxes pay me 4.5% interest.

Gemeinde/Kanton between 0.2% and 0.8%.

Where you got that from? I see 0.75% here.

Maybe I mis-remembered from my tax invoice…

Wait, I see:

As of January 1, 2025, the default interest rate and the reimbursement interest rate on refunds will be 4.5 percent (previously 4.75 percent each) due to the current interest rate level. The reimbursement interest rate on voluntary advance payments of direct federal taxes will decrease to 0.75 percent (previously 1.25 percent).

Yeah I am doing that but then I’d want to also have some cash available on a relatively short notice (though I could always borrow against my stocks).

Wir offers 0.75% and one can withdraw 20k/calendar year without notice.

Zak factsheet shows 0.3% now

Does anyone by any Chance know if CEA allows for banking relationships in (broken) German or English? I don‘t care about french acount statements, but appreciate an attempt from their side to talk anythingbother than French. And second question: does anyone knownif they provide for remote account creation or do I need to travel there?
