Vanguard CH broker

As an investing strategy, a reliable broker is my first priority.
Having said this, is there any good reason I se no-one uses Vanguard.ch ?
I currently use Degiro myself with an account created while I was living in Ireland, curios to see what my best option is: change my Degiro account from Ireland to Switzerland, open an account with IB/Vanguard?
Any thoughts?
Thank you!

What do you mean with vanguard.ch?
To the best of my knowledge vanguard proposes in Switzerland ETF with low TER that you can buy at the SIX. I do not know of any possibility to open an account at Vanguard Switzerland for the ETF from Vanguard.

People in the US for example have Vanguards accounts.
Looking at their Swiss website I can’t find any create account option.
So Vanguard is a broker for US residents but it not for Swiss?

Exactly

To be precise, they’re not a broker in US, they’re providing mutual funds.

Financial services are much more “small investor” friendly in the US than in Switzerland. You open an account at the ETF provider site and you never pay any fees to buy or sell ETF.

vanguard.com is for US residents only, vanguard.co.uk for UK residents. vangaurd.ch does not offer brokerage accounts. It’s a shame, it would pretty convenient to invest directly with Vanguard.
