Thinking about moving to Switzerland and live from passive income

Just a quick note on AHV contributions:

The situation is as follows:

AHV contributions are determined on the basis of the final cantonal tax assessment for the relevant contribution year.

Let’s assume that someone holds only securities, lives solely off trading in securities, and also receives some interest income and dividends.

In their tax return, they have to declare the value of their assets. The authority responsible for setting AHV contributions then uses this information to calculate the contributions, correct?

Does this mean that the person does not need to provide any information at all about the value of their assets for the calculation of AHV contributions?
Does the AHV authority receive the data automatically from the tax office, so that the person does not need to provide any information at all to the AHV authority regarding the value of their assets?
