Taxation of start-up investments

I have been asking in another post within the portfolio folder about investing in start-ups.
Is anyone having any clue on how this investments are taxed in Switzerland?
Are the investment platforms providing you with a specific format for the tax authorities?

Many thanks in advance to all

verve.vc does provide users with an tax report. Most of the startup as valued at 0 anyway tho.

You will get a statement of nominal value for the start-up from your fiduciary (for Swiss investments). It becomes part of your wealth. For investments outside of Switzerland (ie US), you would be sent some equivalent tax form (K1 in US) which values your shares as of the last round share price (or your original investment). I guess every country does it their own way. It all has to be reported as wealth for Swiss taxes regardless of jurisdiction.
