I took a decent position in VinaCapital Vietnam Opportunity Fund Limited which I sold at a nice profit to free up funds for the downpayment for my house. Later I bought in again on a dip and it’s been doing so so since then.
I fundamentally believe strongly in Vietnams potential: GDP growth, young population, manufacturing moving there from China, etc.
Would like to make a few more targeted country bets like this - e.g. Mongolia, Ukraine, Iraq, Central Asia.

Any others looking at these kind of investments? Good/bad experiences? Advice?
