Spam issue with the Forum

The forum is being spammed right now with newly registered accounts

Does anyone have the right to suspend registrations until our elected representatives can figure out what the hell is going on? :wink:

I usually check the forum every few hours, but I also have life of my own. If I remember correctly, if few senior users flag a post as spam, it gets unlisted and the poster silenced. So I guess you just need to use flags.

Thanks for reporting @xmj and @nabalzbhf .

I now reactivated user registration, with a captcha system enabled. Don’t hesitate to ping me if you still such an issue (that would be weird now).

@_MP You can also force moderator review of the first x posts. This gives moderators a chance to delete the posts before they are shown.
