Is there a chance the fund goes bust before I retire in 35 years. I heard that law is flexible about how much of money I paid while working will be paid back to me?
The chance is small, but not zero. So many things can happen in 35 years, no one can tell how our pension fund system and more specifically your pension fund will look like so far in the future.
There is always a chance as @Burningstone mentioned, but there exists a guarantee fund for it [1] [2] in case of insolvency.
