Rent to Buy in Switzerland

Hi guys

My landlord has asked if we would be interested in buying our property but my income is too low for the banks. I heard about Rent to Buy, does anyone have experience or advice about this?

Rent-to-buy is not really a big thing in Switzerland, and the regulator partially forbid such solutions in the last 20 years to not further heat-up the real estate market.

There are still some potential solutions, but rent-to-buy works if you have the income but not the equity. If you lack the income as you say, this won’t help you.
