… that’s why there is no bitcoin if no evidence onchain. That’s an issue short term… long term it doesn’t matter.
This is fortunately not the case with the spot ETFs. But sure, maybe on exchanges or other derivatives could not be backed.
IBIT is backed and can be tracked publicly. Gold cant
btw. this is a donation to the community (long term positive after the scandal news with several probably huge dumps settle )
Thanks.
yeah… donation, but only to the hodlers … buy some… just in case!
Sell on good news?
I take it with Saylor: Buy forever, never sell…
The bitcoins can be audited by having them make a cryptographic signature to prove they can control the coins.
What a nothingburger.
“No active buying means this is just a fancy title for Bitcoin holdings that already existed with the Govt. This is a pig in lipstick.”
“Trump will never acknowledge BTC”
“He won’t show at Bitcoin 2025”
“He won’t announce an SBR”
“He won’t actually Free Ross”
“The SBR won’t be BTC but ‘USA based crypto’ ”
“They won’t buy any new BTC for the SBR”
you are here
Keep fading.

I tend to agree with your view.
Keeping all 200k btc is a good first step to establish the infrastructure, knowledge and processes within the goverment.
Also there is not too much resistance since no public money needs to be spend.
These things take time…which is a good opportunity to accumulate
At least nothing negative… compared to 2 to 4 yrs ago the tone about bitcoin has changed.
Further:
- El Salvador is still buying daily 1 BTC
- Belarussia start discussion about Bitcoin mining with excessive energy
- Buthan still mines
- some African countries let miners mine
But:
- Russia still against (SBR) but didn’t ban anything
- Europe highly against “Crypto”
- China: black hole (cannot figure out what stance they have)
… the game theory has not kicked in yet (or maybe just slightly).
Anyway, I’m here for the long run…
I suspect China will be against and eventually ban it. They already kicked out the miners once. I suspect they don’t want to waste energy on this and also maybe down the line they might see bitcoin as a threat to their control (and a way of smuggling capital out of China).
Why is BTC not exploding?
I‘m just waiting to load IBIT and BITX/BITU
It waits for my (above avarage) bonus end of march
Now now Mr mod, is this related to investments? I read “cronies”, “regime”, “corruption”, “insider trading” and other negative words but not many or any substantive points. Doesn’t mean I don’t 100% agree with it.
Sure, this is about Bitcoin and crypto, which is an investment. If a company top people are involved in insider trading or its fundamentals are shit, it doesn’t mean we are not allowed to discuss it.
