All banks did it though.
When I read the title, I thought it was the management fees for funds like 3a 
Are they going to go back to free bank account with relatively modest amount in the account like it was some years ago?
I strongly doubt that

People got used to 0% interests and to pay for an account. I doubt any old fashioned bank will change that.
Yuh might never have an account that you have to pay though.
