Is anyone here working at PostFinance or familiar with their investment options? I’m currently using Interactive Brokers (IBKR) but have been advised to move my investments to either PostFinance or Yuh. I’m trying to understand the benefits and differences between the two. Currently, I don’t know the specific advantages of trading with PostFinance as an upcoming employee, so any information would be appreciated.
What are the main differences between self-service funds and e-trading at PostFinance? I assume e-trading is where I buy everything myself, and with self-service funds, I buy a pre-built PF fund?
Any insights into the advantages of each option (PostFinance / Yuh) from an employee’s perspective if I just want to buy VT or VWRL?
I know I can use Yuh to invest in ETFs like VWRL, but it hurts to pay the 0.5% fee when selling. Any advice or personal experiences would be really helpful or if any insights on the benefits of trading(Reocurring investment VT / VWRL) at PF as an employee can be given.
Further, has anyone got an exception to keep their IBKR account?
I myself have never traded with Yuh or Postfinance, but even if I would have, for you it probably matters more to hear from other PostFinance employees rather than the general public (the fees are gonna be different).
Exactly, it will be my future employer.I thought i may find a current employee in this forum or an ex-employee who could assist or give me some informations in advance.
And that tool assume a single etf purchase per month.
Now if you dare to do something else as VT & chill & e.g. split your regional allocation, will even more drastically increase your cost at another broker then ibkr/Saxo
But there is no “eSteuerauszug” from “Interactive Brokers”? In other words, I have to enter my securities account manually in the taxes? Is that correct?
I configured a report in IBKR that includes all the information the tax office needs such as dividends, market values at the end of the year, interest, etc. and attach this report and it got accepted by the tax authorities. I’d try that before entering everything manually.
