Pillar 2 plan 1e TER

Hello,

I am currently reviewing the Total Expense Ratio (TER) of my Pillar 2 1e plan with SwissLife.

The funds TER are the following:

  • 75% stock: 0.55%
  • 45% stock: 0.53%
  • 35% stock: 0.53%
  • 25% stock: 0.53%
  • 15% stock: 0.54%

Based on this market analysisthe average TER is 0.56%

If you are in a pillar 2 plan 1e (this is possible only for people with a salary higher than 136k), what is your provider and the TER of funds offered? And what ist the maximum stock allocation offered?

btw it’s something the employer can negotiate with the provider, I remember when previous employer was exploring 1e, the initial proposal was with hedged equity, and iirc they had managed to get them to switch to fully passive unhedged equity (I forgot if the max equity was 75% or higher tho).

That said, I don’t know if it’s easy/possible to switch after 1e starts being used at a given employer (vs. during the setup).

UBS, 0.14% to 0.85%, up to 100%. The trick? Nearly every option offered has some shortfall (feels like the actively designed it so), like the 100% equity index option only with high home bias, 80% hedged and 0.80% TER :upside_down_face:
