I don’t think you will. VT is rather an exception, I don’t think there is another cheap capitalization weighted All-World US ETF. Expensive multifactor strategy - most probably. So most of the time you have to go for US/developed ex-US/emerging markets split. ESG US ETFs that I liked most are iShares US ESG Advanced (USXF/DMXF).
I have a very simple test: if an US/World ETF holds Amazon, it is bad ESG.
Now seriously: look at the MSCI ESG score/rating! For US ETFs you can find it at https://www.etf.com/ for example.
When it comes to ESG, US small caps and Emerging Markets (specifically China) are worst.
So, ESG characteristics of some US ETFs:
VT: 6.19 / A
VOO: 5.84 / A
VTI: 5.68 / BBB
VBR: 5.31 / BBB
ESGV (Vanguard ESG U.S. Stock ETF): 5.82 / A - better than VTI but just close to VOO
USXF: 8.13 / AA
When it comes to European ESG ETFs, many ETF providers do not even provide ESG score of their ESG funds! Ridiculous! Vanguard ESG Global All Cap has Amazon holding, but I didn’t find information about its ESG rating.
What I saw so far is that only iShares consistently provide ESG rating for their ETFs, even for non-ESG ones. HSBC Sustainable are also interesting and have detailed information about ESG characteristics. For some Amundi ESG ETFs I found ESG rating hidden deep down in the documentation, and it was not impressive.
