Opening a cryptocurrency exchange location

Hello Mustachians. I’m a foreigner who has some experience with several financial markets, recently exploring the crypto market as an avenue of passive income growth. After trial and error, and countless hours of research, I’ve settled on the idea of opening a physical cryptocurrency exchange location. I’m currently looking at offices in Bern or Zurich.
If you have experience doing business in that area, my team and I would appreciate your opinion.

Just to be sure. You mean something like art gallery or an auction house?

I am wondering if you are trying to implement the Patek Philippe model to cryptocurrency:)

How do you want to finance yourself and the location? I’m not familiar with this area, but there are already Bitcoin ATMs in Zurich. There are even ‘shops’ where you can get technical help with Bitcoin issues. See: https://www.house-of-satoshi.ch/

I head from a lot of people, that buying crypto online is hard due to the not regulated circumstances and that people felt not safe.

That was 10 years ago. Nowadays, one can buy crypto through his (Swiss) bank, if other exchanges seem sketchy (tbh, for most of the users and investors Bitcoin is more than enough).

Moreover, beside buying crypto „directly“ there are plenty of ETF options - easy, accessible and no stress of losing the paperkey.

As I understanf OP, he probably wants to open a physical exchange with assisted transactions for a fee. Since he has to use a digital crypto stock exchange for that, the question of the USP arises.
