With this API, can ordinary people access the API, or is it restricted?

Seems to be the exact list like this: bLink – The Swiss Open Banking Platform | SIX

bLink is the used multi/open banking software by ZKB and many other bank, it seems.

Restricted, you need to sign a contract with SIX. (also I don’t think it’s free, so not really an open API).

To onboard the bLink platform, you’ll run through three phases: First is the Get-to-Know Phase , which includes the initial contact with us, access to and studying of the bLink documentation (contract, pricing, admission test, technical specifications, etc.) and your decision to join the platform. This is followed by the Onboarding Phase , which includes the connection to bLink, the implementation of the APIs, and the final validation on both the business and technical level in the context of our standardized admission test. Once you have passed the admission test, you’re ready for Go Live .

So, they should call it closed gatekept banking :stuck_out_tongue:

You could have pay platform like finary that will offer to extract all your portfolio positions from provider that comply with this API regulation.

It will ease your position allocations for a fee.

This Open Banking APIs are a privacy nightmare. My transaction data leaked soon?

How so? No data is transferred to anyone without your consent…

If you use a credit card that’s probably a much higher risk, I never investigated in CH but in other countries the transactions are often sold for analytics.

I don’t use a credit card for this reason

I guess then you have nothing to worry, especially if you don’t even plan to make use of those API
