Brave works fine on iphone
Turkey and Argentina were fun while they lasted. For spotify, I am in a family with a couple of friends as long as it is toerated. Netflix has a 5€ plan with ads that I will use with my DKB-card and VPN and for youtube I tend to a reseller that needs access to my account as I like to watch videos on nest devices and the ads drive me nuts
Tried it. So far very, very happy with it. Excactly what I was looking for.
On Mac there is Freetube, I love it. It also offers a lot of customization out of the box (like hiding comments, recommendations, etc..) and so far it has worked very well.
EDIT: it is also available for Windows and Linux:)
I use an ad blocker called AdGuard Pro on iPhone, iPad and Mac and don’t see any ads on YouTube in Safari. Doesn’t work in the official YouTube app though.
Ironically, it’s actually a lot simpler to buy cheaper YouTube Premium if you have an iPhone.
To do this, you need to create a new Apple account located in Turkey (that’s what I used until last month when I switched to Samsung). Then, cancel your current YouTube Premium subscription and wait for it to expire.
When you need to renew your subscription, go to the App Store, disconnect your primary account, and log in to the account you created.
Then, go to the YouTube app and subscribe for around 115 TRY (approximately 2 CHF). You can’t use a credit card; you’ll need to top up credit in your Turkish account via an iTunes Turkey (!!) Gift card, which you can buy on websites like G2A or Eneba. (https://www.g2a.com/fr/apple-itunes-gift-card-1000-tl-itunes-key-turkey-i10000156778227)
You can then switch back to your primary App Store account, and it will have YouTube Premium because it’s linked to your YouTube account.
You can do this trick every month or buy a larger amount of TRY and top up for several months.
You can do this trick with multiple website, i used it on Reddit, FitnessPal, Evernote. Not all site use located price, but when they do you can use this trick to pay cheaper
