I have prayed for this for a LONG time.
Hopefully I’ll be able to get tickets (for Wembley).
I’ve seen some greats live (Springsteen, Stones, The War on Drugs, G 'n R, The Cult, etc.) but Oasis is the band I’ve been desperate to see for almost 30 years.
Anybody else going after tickets?
I got 4 tickets for the concert in Edinburgh! The waiting time was crazy. I started browsing at 9:30 AM, and by 10:10 AM, I was in a queue with 80,000 people ahead of me. Finally, at 2:00 PM, I had the option to buy some of the leftover tickets for £400 each (including fees). Did you manage to get any tickets?
I got two tickets for London. Had registered on the Oasis fan website 5-10 years ago so was lucky to get the opportunity to buy tickets during the pre-sale on Friday. Only had 5000 people in front of me and managed to get fantastic tickets - seated, close to the stage, good view.
Already booked a hotel and flights as well.
Read somewhere that 40 million (!) people were trying to get tickets - and in total there were max 1 million tickets. On the Facebook facebook pages there were a lot of people from the US, non-UK countries in Europe, etc. posting so I imagine there’s going to be a lot of people flying in just for this UK tour.
Will be interesting to see how they continue to build up the marketing around this during the next 12 months - a new album? a movie?
