We - a 34 years old couple with kids project - are living in Geneva for 10 years and plan to stay around.
The big question for us is today : what should be our strategy in terms of main residence?
Having said that we are more aiming at buying our main residence rather than renting, I like to better understand the fiscal and financial impacts between buying two options : (A) in Switzerland (Geneva or Vaud) and (B) in France (Ain).
On this I would be interested to hear from your expertise and ideally find someone (I guess a fiscalist) who can help me building concrete scenarios for the short/medium/long term not only considering the main residence to better compare the two options (Switzerland or France)
