FYI afaik, it’s a british concept (and a bit like Heimatort in CH), not something specific to the english language.
also this is very interesting. I was about to get into IB, but now I’ll consider learning how to use Swissquote. We open the partner account tomorrow, and I let the funding agency send me the money there, but as soon as I’m a bit more stable and prepared, I put all my money on Swissquote and close the Swiss account and that’s it 
I can open Swissquote from everywhere in the world? I’ll do some search on the forum now
