A friend has both elderly parents in a care home. He pays 20k per month for this (10k each). Does anyone plan for late life care? It seems difficult to save enough to pay for this out of pocket. I’m not sure if this can be covered with some kind of insurance?

Wow. I didn’t know there was a legal obligation. I guess I need to make sure my kids are super high earners and that can be my pension!
