I hope my question is not too simple, but I couldn’t find the answer. Is it possible to use IB, when I just have a swiss bank account?

Hi Bks and welcome to the forum 
Yes, indeed. They will also provide you with a Swiss IBAN bank account number where you can transfer your money to. So this means you don’t even have to pay any bank fees because you will be doing a transfer from your Swiss bank account to theirs.
