I think the low cost index replication approach is the best option I have. It tackles two big problems:
- Fees eating all excess returns
- Single managers being wrong.
For now it does deliver what they promise. Their replication method doesnât have too much history, though. So, I do have some KMLM for a direct allocation to such strategies. Maybe I will also add another replicator like RSST later (but working around the US stocks position gives me headaches).

Musk seems to already be going on personal petty mini crusades to impose whatever he wants wherever he can. I feel the next 4 years will be a fiesta of terrible pettiness and over the top debauchery, which will probably ultimately harm the USâs place in the world. Oh well, itâs ultimately a self-correcting issue, just like antivaxxers.
Edit: itâs almost like these guys want to really play the cartoon villain part, from my perspective.

Biden pardoning his son actually made me think of this topic again, when I pour 65-70% of my investments into a country, where you just have to be the son of the current president and somehow law doesnât apply to you anymore.

I (probably?) agree with your passing of judgement for President Bidenâs decision (without knowing any of the details, of course), but you seem to imply the mechansims and effects of power are different in other countries?
I mean, theyâre certainly different, but only in shades of gray â 50, to be precise â not in black and white.

As in a real democracy, everyone should be treated the same when it comes to law and the separation of powers (legislative, executive and judicial) should be intact. Or is Viola Amherd/the federal council able to pardon a convicted offender in Switzerland?

As I said, I donât think itâs black (US, you seem to imply?) or white (CH, you seem to imply?).
Rather how mature a democracy is. US and CH are just examples.

Hereâs a thought on the political risk on investments: both the orange sex offender and Mr Battery are egomaniacal sociopaths, eventually theyâll fall out because this sort doesnât/canât get along. Likely because Mr Battery is smarter than the sex offender and will steal some of his bright orange glow. The sex offender will cast Mr Battery out of the inner circle and any position of power. When this happens Mr Battery will crucify the sex offender using the same means which helped him to power. The sex offender will move the slow but very heavy machinery of the US govt to crush Mr Battery, to appear a man of the common folk to the sheeple who vote for him. Thatâll likely coincide with BTCâs circle downwards and cause a ripple effect to crypto, faith in the US, big tech, taking down the market with it.
I know I downplayed how much I dislike either of the two and their ways, but thatâs my prediction for next June.
