How many skincare products do you use every day on your face? (poll)

So that’s my question to all of you: how many skincare products do you use EVERY DAY on your face? Water does not count.

If you use makeup or beard related products, please do not count those.

For me the answer is 0 and I thought that was kind of normal but I’m getting the idea that it might not.
The only thing I do consistently is wash my face with water twice a day. Things I use sometimes: cream, chapstick, sunscreen, cleanser / soap, all of that is on an as needed basis: cream or chapstick against dryness, sunscreen… well against UV-rays :sunny:, and cleanser or soap most of the time only to get sunscreen off.

So I guess what I hope from this poll is to either make me feel better about my non existing “skincare routine” or convince me that I need to “step up my game”

How do shaving cream and after shave count in this poll?

Doesn’t count  … Unless you apply it to the rest of your face too.

Great, thank you all so much!

Cleanser + Moisturizer in the morning and before going to bed is basically all you need.

  1. CeraVe Pore Deep Cleansing
  2. CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion

This setup will cost you about CHF 30 and will last from 3 to 5 months or so.

Because I’m doing a lot of sport and was constantly battling with really dry skin (due to sweat), it really saved me. In addition, your face feels really smooth and great 24/7.

I was considering anti aging face cream for my 40+ birthday.

I’m following Bryan Johnson project as well and he recommend the same routine.

Anyone read other relevant papers on the subject.

aka retinol. Keep in mind that it’s nothing trivial, so really read up on how retinoids work, how often to apply, etc. It should also be incorporated on top of your normal skincare routine (cleanser+moisturizer).
