…or, in other words, “groceries”, isn‘t it?

I‘m just saying, the price savings alone are often worth a trip to Germany. I wouldn’t get too hung up about the VAT refund on groceries as it’s just a fraction of non-food items. Sure, I’d do it when convenient but wouldn’t get out of my way to do so.

Jestetten/Lottstetten are conveniently located for grocery shopping and toiletries (which also often carry a higher VAT rate) but otherwise not that interesting to shop for clothes or other household items (selection of shops), compared to Singen or maybe Waldshut (furniture).
