I recommend Fidelity, they truly understand bitcoin and they have their own custody, they don’t use coinbase.
Is there a risk of such huge players making mistakes and losing all their coins? Or are spot ETFs as safe as stock ETFs?
And how does Blackrock store its BTC in IBIT?
When I remember correctly Crypto is classified as an asset like equities in Swissquote not FIAT. So in a bankruptcy scenario that doesn’t fall into the bank’s possession.
I’d say that is a pretty huge risk.
Did I read this right? Even Blackrock is putting their whole trust in Coinbase? Only Fidelity does it right?
For 59chf you can get a blockstream jade hardware wallet. The only thing you have to do then:
- Invest 2h in how to tutorial videos
- never lose your seed phrase
… and all the risks are PUFF! gone.
Maybe you are right and I should use a cold/hardware wallet. I need time to learn everything about it.
In the meantime I‘m keeping 0.1 BTC on Coinbase and 2 ETH on Kraken.
Where do you find this number ?
thank you

Also, if you are experimenting fomo, don’t trade if you are not 100% confident in what you are doing. Better buy now and stop thinking about it for the next 4+ years.

JUST IN: #Bitcoin ETFs are catching up to Gold ETFs for total assets, with more than 50% as much AUM as Gold.
$54b for $BTC
$96b for Gold
After just 8 weeks!
Well, less than 1% of gold is stored in ETFs. I don‘t think that this will be the case with BTC.
And this is of course refers to US, because the rest of the world doesn’t exist.
A quick look at justetf.com shows that there are 50+ billions in European ETPs on gold.
71k ATH great week ahead
I’m sorry, but why do you keep posting the price of Bitcoin all the time? It doesn’t add any value to the discussion at all…
