I wonder wen VIAC and co will allow it?

ETFs don’t plan to stop anytime soon…

…And right now my Fetch.ai are 865% UP

Never expected that…

BlackRock bought 12,447 Bitcoin yesterday.

That’s ~14x the daily supply.

And someone sold 12,447 Bitcoins, also 14x the daily supply.

(Just saying it’s a weird way to phrase it, someone buying means someone else is selling, volume doesn’t make the price somehow, unless blackrock is special?)

Maybe what would be interesting would be comparing inflows/outflows for various asset classes, etc

I asked them a month ago, they said : We are working on that.

Increased volume would be consistent with new entrants to the market

(shifts demand curve → increased volume whilst new equilibrium is established between supply and demand at a higher price)

How unsafe is it to keep your crypto on exchanges like Coinbase and Kraken? I know the whole „not your keys not your coin“ mantra, but what is the actual risk of leaving it there? I mean we trust online brokers like IBKR too? Why are well established crypto exchanges so much riskier?

Probably reasonably safe given TFA.

Nobody thought FTX would collapse… and Celsius, and BlockFi…

Why not just buy IBIT?

That’s why I use Swissquote for this long-term holding. At least they having a banking license and working under Swiss law.

it’s like enjoying the nature on a TV instead being out there in the nature and enjoy it live. not the same…

Same, my not cold stash is on swissquote and not kraken.

@Cortana imo ETF is fully enough for occasional small holder.

My suggestion: HW Wallet > ETF (IBIT) > Banks (Swissquote) > Exchanges (Kraken)

are you sure there are no catchy restrictions in the AGB with the crypto custodian?
and up to 100k, right?

Would you consider IBIT the best BTC ETF?

more volume, more liquid… better. but consider the fees
