German but interesting: Bitcoin in der Schweiz: In diesen Kantonen wird am meisten investiert
It‘s happening. I just bought 0.1 BTC
Cold, exchange, etf?
Where I‘m holding my ETH, at Coinbase. Now I have 2 ETH and 0.1 BTC. Cost basis 6940 CHF in total.
Would you suggest storing them somewhere else?
First Stocks, then RE, now Crypto… We’re safe nowhere anymore!
Would keep at coinbase for such amount to keep it simple (and cheaper)
Edit: and nice cost basis, dont sell eth before etf approval
Slowly…
Where do you see the crypto Total 1 at the end of this ‘‘potential’’ future bull run ? Between 5-6T ? That’s mean a BTC between 120-150k…
No reason to sell the winner to buy the losers
It‘s happening now. The Cortana effect.
The future of BTC? Going down to 25k right after I bought it at its peak
If it goes below 50k it’s definitely confirmed
Thanks Cortana, that’s fantastic because my salary comes in a few days after yours
same here… but we dont look for the 10%. we go for the +500%
do you have a withdrawal strategy or do you just hodl through the next all time high? i have some altcoins that i am thinking of selling completely. i will hodl some bitcoin. the question is when to sell and how many. how did you plan it?
A post was merged into an existing topic: Please allow me to introduce myself: the story of Dr. PI
My asset allocation is 95% Bitcoin, 5% CHF, no stocks, no etfs, no bonds, no gold (incl. 3a, excl. BVG, coz no control over it). No intention to sell ever again. Just convert when needed like buying a car or for vacations etc.
Btw. removing shitcoins out of my portfolio was a big relief.
Bitcoin IS my exit strategy
I have a mental note to re evaluate my holdings 6-12 months after the halving.
I would sell a significant portion if we get to the 80-100k range but exactly when and how much would depend how we get there.
The rest I probably wouldn’t sell unless we really moon. Treating it basically a my lottery ticket (I don’t really play the lottery or gamble). Selling 25% of my holdings even at 100k wouldn’t really change my life or FIRE goals significantly. Probably not the most logical decision but buying bitcoin in the first place wasn’t either.
For what it’s worth I have a rather low cost basis for my holdings, so there’s also that.
It looks like the markets are getting immune to @Cortana effect: the price retreats for few days, then surges up.
Or, rather: even Cortana effect can’t beat expectations of falling rates…
