Fiscalist in Geneva to review my tax declaration

Hello,

My tax declaration has become increasingly complex over the years. Last year my wife became independent and I have some doubts about the tax declaration.

Do you know a fiscalist in Geneva who I could hire to review my tax declaration ? Not to do it, but really just to go through and tell me what to change or fix.

Hi,

I don’t know any fiduciary in Geneva but wanted to say that what you’re doing regarding doing it yourself is the right approach. Unfortunately most fiduciaries don’t pay a lot of attention to your tax return and often miss or miscalculate your taxes. It happened to me that they just declared around 10k extra income for me in 2023 just because I shared a maternity payment certificate. Those maternity payments were already accounted for in my wife’s salary certificate.

Honestly, since 2024 I’ve been doing my taxes with AI and have found that process much more helpful. I can give all my documents and the tax rules to the AI and ask it questions and I can verify their claim myself and learn a bit along the way. My friend and I have been on a mission to make filing taxes less complicated and less stressful since last year using AI. It’s not something ready to announce but right now we’re looking for early testers who have specific problems. if you’re interested please get in touch.

Thanks a lot for your reply. My experience with fiduciaries is pretty poor. But this time, I feel like I am out of my depth.

Regarding your proposal to test your solution, I must say that I have quite a big reluctancy sharing my tax declaration with an AI or a stranger on the web… Let me think about it.

Totally fair on the stranger hesitation, no pressure on testing. I’m still curious about your tax experience. What specifically makes the wife becoming independent feel complex this year?
