Family Home & Mobile Internet provider [2025 edition]

The Galaxus deal can allow a Sunrise customer to alternate between Qoqa deal and Galaxus deal.

I don’t know if there is a specific discussion about only mobile offers so I post it here:

Lidl Connect “Surf & Call Abo” for 10.90 CHF per month:

  • No minimum contract duration
  • No activation fee
  • Unlimited internet (CH)
  • Unlimited SMS (CH)
  • 100 minutes call (CH)

FYI looks like a lot of the black Friday offers are out (comparis had decent data to compare)

This time decided to go for a swisscom provider since I’m planning to spend more time outdoor.

A new player (sunrise owned) : https://chmobile.ch

Launch price is quite interesting.

Very interesting, thx.
Does anyone know them?

I understand the idea of having an expensive and a cheap brand in order to address all target groups. But WTF Sunrise?! They now have Sunrise, Yallo, Swype, Lebara, CHmobile. All owned by Sunrise. And then there are a huge number of third-party providers on the Sunrise network: Aldi Mobile, Galaxus Mobile, Quickline Mobile, Digital Republic, Teleboy, TalkTalk, Twifi etc.

Now I know why the Sunrise network is getting slower and slower at peak times…

@rezliensa Only if you give me a time machine that I can use to travel into the future

CHmobile has only been around for ~2 days. See also:

with your links it’s already something. And no sorry, no time machine to give

I would never ever switch back to Sunrise/Salt as long as Swisscom has the most frequencies and antennas. It’s physically not possible for the other players to have a better network than Swisscom.

I agree.

I tested the 3 networks. Overall, Swisscom is the best. But in my village, Salt has an antenna in the church (lol).

So Salt is the best for me where I live.

A few years ago, I spent two week in a civil defense shelter under a school during swiss military training (WK). The only mobile network that worked was Salt. No network with Swisscom or Sunrise. It was a few nice days of digital detox. Until someone in the bunker set up a DSL connection and installed a mesh network of Wi-Fi routers that even worked in the bedroom.

So you can watch 4K streams over 5G during the sermon or what

As the Swissom net is the only option for me, I like the current Mucho Mobile offers:

  • 19.90 CHF with unlimited data in CH/EU and unlimited voice/sms in CH

I also like the nano / mini offer

  • 3.90 CHF with 1 GB / 75 Min. in CH and 100MB in EU
  • 7.90 CHF with 5 GB / 300 Min. in CH and 500 MB in EU

Any better deals on the Swisscom net? Anyone using Mucho Mobile?

Cheers!

afaict that’s currently the best deal on swisscom network.

Some downside is that they don’t have esim (also you can only pay with credit card with is somewhat odd but not too annoying).

They also restrict download/upload speed. Maybe they are more robust than Salt/Sunrise network alternatives but others have potential for higher speed during less busy hours.

anyone heard of sweez? I see a lot of ads in Swiss Romande.
I am not even sure what mobile operator they are using.

If you already have a yallo black abo, its possible to get the 10gbit fiber internet for around 30 chf (+3 with tv) via the hotline, free activation

But sadly its cgnat and apparently not even a native ipv6 (since no port forwarding is possible) , which is a dealbreaker for me. I need dual stack
