Nothing that is related to how this forum is run or something that happened.
Just increasingly conscious about data security, nothing I wrote is controversial Just a matter of privacy.

I used a different user name here than on most other online accounts, because we share detailed financial info here that could be use for social engineering or the like.

I noticed you delete all your messages shortly after. One can still read them by clicking on the pencil, it’s just an additional hurdle.
Or will this ‘read deleted post’ option be gone later and this is a ‘privacy’ attempt?
There is at least another user who is (or was) systematically doing this. If you (generic you) have such privacy concerns, I’d suggest not to post. On the one hand portions of your posts may still remain in quotes from other users, on the other hand it clutters the readability of the thread when responses remain to messages which are gone…
Posts that were completely deleted disappear after 1 week, I think. This is what I remember from forum logs.
Agree. Now my post above also reads weird, as if I answered to @Dr.PI previous post.
That just makes everything confusing and unreadable.
