It’s not free, but at $3 $5.40* per month the GLM-4.7 plan is amazingly good and way cheaper than Claude code at $100 per month.

I’m hardly using Perplexity any more even though I still have the free Pro account. I will cancel this when it expires. Now I’m using only:

Both Gemini 3 and ChatGPT are very good, but for coding, I quickly exceed the limits of the free tier and so need a subscription plan. I’ve used DeepSeek before but stopped using it after it hit the news and the servers became very overloaded. I still have some credits on there, so will re-check it to see if it has improved.
