Chartbook of my mechanical momentum strategy

Vista Oil and Gas (VIST):

Technip FMC (FTI):

Constellation Energy (CEG):

Supermicro Computers (SMCI):

OK, this does not work. Even I did use the img tag and in my test it did work, the system loads local copies of the chart and that means it will never be updated. I know, it is a feature not a bug, but for this purpose it would be nice not to have the charts cached.

This is a feature to avoid future link rot. If you want to link a live chart, unless something like iframes are allowed, you need to link to the page instead of the image.

It still works for your post 4d ago. Are you sure you didn’t do anything else?

Test with RAM HTML:

Test with Markdown:

What I notice:

  • If you write the HTML/Markdown tag first and then copy in the URL, the editor may treat the URL strangely and try to make magic. Check again before sending.
  • The HTML tag may be easier, as I don’t expect Discourse (the forum software) to change anything there.

Edit: You’re right. Discourse has also changed the URLs for my images. Even in the code block. It’s interesting that it worked in your post four days ago.

Yep, strange.
