Any experience with the above letter from the tax office while living very frugal, well below the ‘Existenzminimum’? Chances / efforts on getting the assessment of the tax office corrected?
I once had to explain a Vermögenszuwachs. I mentioned frugal living and gave examples. It worked and got accepted by the tax office.
(My mother also once had to justify this topic. That was 50 years ago. It also worked for her.)
