Beancount getting started

Pdf importers are a pain. As it looks like no one has one, you can look at beancounttools/importer.py at master · tarioch/beancounttools · GitHub that’s one I created for Cembra.
It uses GitHub - atlanhq/camelot: Camelot: PDF Table Extraction for Humans there is also a tool for camelot GitHub - camelot-dev/excalibur: A web interface to extract tabular data from PDFs that is useful for figuring out how to configure camelot.

Slowly working on this, still didn’t start the pdf importer but I have a question about smart_importer.
Any way for it to also fill the amount when it creates a new posting? I find it tiresome to always having to copy paste the amount…

You don’t need that if you have two postings you can leave one empty and it will be the opposite of the other one.
