You probably heard that there was a shift to QR-bills this November (old “Einzahlungsschein” not possible anymore).
I didn’t think this would affect me as I do my payments either via e-bill or with recurring payments/standing orders.
Turns out I should’ve cared more:
Some of my recurring payments failed today because the address (post code & city) were not in the right form which led to rejection of the payments.
Apparently this “stricter” address is also part of the change to QR-bill as you can see in the link below:
Just as a heads up if someone has standing orders set up a longer time ago → probably wise to check whether it went through or not.
