I think when we send wire , Alpian executes the transaction as ACH from their US account. That’s my understanding

Do they also put a 4 day hold on the funds you transferred? It is my understanding that since ACH is reversible, they wait out the ‘please recall my money’ period with that.
Btw I’m surprised they’d actually support ACH, usually not the case for non US institutions (it’s basically a check and normally requires a domestic account on your name).

Yes they do put 4 days hold when I made a wire transfer from Alpian to IBKR. In addition they ask for proof of payment

That said, I had took a look after your post, as I haven’t used Neon’s statements …ever?
I suppose they‘re using a correspondent bank account or third-party service provider (e.g. Currency Cloud or the like), which would also explain why IBKR is asking for proof of payment (due to not coming from an account in your name).
