I’ve tested all the mentioned services but never used any as my main account - only as a backup or for daily payments with minimal deposits.
The only service I can confidently recommend is CSX, which I used daily for an extended period without issues. Their customer service is excellent, even on weekends, and far more responsive than other neobanks.
Ranking from best to worst:
- Neon: Reliable with responsive support, but unannounced daytime maintenance is a drawback.
- Zak: Similar to Neon, with branch access, but harder-to-reach support and outdated paper processes.
- Alpian: Works fine but lacks Twint, phone support, and has poor customer service. Only ranked third for its better exchange rates.
- Yuh: Functional, but support is absent, exchange rates are high, and the app’s flashy design isn’t appealing.
This reflects my experience, though opinions may vary.
