Bit different question but is the visa card replacing their maestro and can I get cash for free from their ATMs? Couldn’t figure that out so far

It is. I have received the new card on friday, and they explicitly say so in the letter.
They also state that fees stay the same as the Maestro card - with one exception: They removed the 1.50 CHF for (Maestro) payments abroad.
I have just used my Zak card for a payment online in EUR and it seems they have a 3% fee. My payment was supposed to cost me 261CHF according to the exchange rate, and it ended up costing me 268CHF. This is a big boooo for Zak and their card which I will probably not use ever again even for payments in CHF in Switzerland, as well as for any kind of banking operation. Neon’s MasterCard so far seems far superior to Zak has to offer. I have to say I’m pretty disappointed with them.

A lemma for efficient use of money: if a (financial) service/product is widely advertised, it is too expensive.
