Sure, but I think it also depends on the way you frame it. Even if your working hours are fixed, you can treat any DIY work as overtime in an area which is not your specialty. Some people like it and treat it as a hobby, some find it exhausting.
You can also look at it this way: I will spend 40-45 hours on regular work, and I will avoid spending additional time on trying to save some money through DIY work. I have more time to relax and more energy for my regular work, which is what I see as work-life balance.
Please note that if you use different types or sizes of rims than in the original “vehicle type approval”, you might get fined unless you obtain a stupid paper (“certification of conformity”, see e.g here Felgenzertifikate - Pneuhaus Frank ) from the rim manufacturer and let the cantonal road traffic office inspect your car
Rant: Of course, you could download such a “certification of conformity” issued in Germany for the car rim and your particular car model as a readily available PDF, but of course Switzerland decided it needs to double-and-triple-check everything on its own to arrive at the same conclusion (same as for drug approvals).
If you drive with summer tires probably. If you drive with all years they’d probably rather try to prove that you did not adapt your driving according to the conditions or that the tires were too old / too worn.
