I started my own GmbH and had quite good revenue so i’m switching my employment to my own gmbh. Any recommendations on the Pension (pillar 2) provider? I got an offer from Axa, I heard profund is good but i would be the only person employed and then need min of 5.
Ideally i could have a high equity percentage. I also don’t need a pension so if anyone know a minimum amount to invest, but also to be quite high allocation to equities. I still have to check Asga.
You have to decide first if you want an all-in-one insurance offer (where you have zero risk of having to pay in extra money in case the fund goes under 100% coverage, but have very limited upside; definitively not a solution where you can choose your equity allocation), or collective pension funds.
From what you mentioned, I think you’re more inclined to choose collective funds. Do some google searching, and check out their past performances and coverage ratios. They will also have annual reports showing their equity allocations.
Not a recommendation but a dis-recommendation warning: don’t go for Helvetia, they offer minimum interest for the obligatory and over-obligatory parts which is around 1.25% if I remember correctly.
I wanted to change to Profond but they newly require 10 employees
You are limited due to the company size. I am in the same boat. Have been with Axa (better returns in the last years), considered switching to Asga last year but decided against because cost would have been higher (expected returns probably too, but not guaranteed). I have heard good things about Asga and I am ok with Axa where I also have accident insurance and such.
Weibel Hess & Partner helped me selecting, got the offers and did the comparison. I don’t have to pay them, they get their share from the insurance providers.
