VT in 3a and IBKR with, is This a Good Strategy?

That’s exactly what I do:

  • Global 100 in 3a (Viac and Finpension)
  • World ETF in 3b (IBKR and Saxo)

I use two providers in each case, but only Viac and IBKR is completely fine.

@robin It’s great that you’re starting to invest at a young age. The important thing is to stick to your strategy (whatever that is). Not that you’ll get the idea to sell when the prices are bad or you hear something in the news. You will learn everything else along the way

Portfolio Suggestion to save on costs and max out diversification with a home bias

100% VT by IBKR

3A by VIAC:

35% Swisscanto SPI Extra

35% UBS SPI Extra

20% Swisscanto SMI

9% UBS SMI

This mix is jus a workaround of stupid viac rules for fund concentration.

Mistake ?

Sorry it was f course the UBS one!

Just not to open a new topic. Anyone knows a finpension equivalent to S&P500 fund?

Sure, it’s probably this one: FactsheetUBS (CH) Index Fund 3 - Equities USA NSL (CHF) I-X-acc

And here you have all their 3a index funds:
Index funds – finpension 3a Retirement Savings Foundation

Hey!

I’m looking into Vivac’s custom strategy right now. I’m still not very experienced in this field. However, I found someone online who tried to mimic VT in Vivac and had the following suggestion:

Swisscanto SPI Responsible - IPF 81%.
Swisscanto World ex CH Responsible – IPF 81%.
Swisscanto World ex CH Small Cap Responsible – IPF 7%
Swisscanto Emerging Markets Responsible - IPF 9%.

Could you elaborate on how and why you chose your exact portfolio on Vivac, as you mentioned for a beginner?

Many thanks for the help!

“Responsible” sounds gruesome!

Stay away from responsible funds. Ideally find a fund called “We use slave labour to hunt baby pandas and use their fat to boil the oceans to extract every last bit of mineral of the planet with the sole purpose of making you rich enough to afford buying a poser wooden bicycle”, these are the best funds
